Our Herbal Supplement is a blend of cascara sagrada, aloe powder, and licorice root that is intended for relief of occasional constipation. We recommend taking two Herbal Supplement tablets the night before starting a 7 Day Cleansing Program. They can also be used daily while on the Cleanse, but should not be used regularly for an extended period of time (i.e., more than one week). If symptoms of constipation persist, you should consult with your health care provider about addressing the root cause of the constipation. Our experience has shown that people generally get better results from the 7 Day Cleansing Program if they take Herbal Supplements with their final Cleansing Drink of the day. Poor dietary choices, low fluid intake, and lack of exercise are factors that can directly contribute to constipation. Bowel regularity should be achieved and maintained through changes in lifestyle, and not through the use of laxatives.

#48 WHOLE BEET PLANT JUICE TABLETS

The beets used for this product are organically grown. The whole beet (leaves, stems, and root) is juiced, and the extract is vacuum dried at low temperature to retain maximum quantities of the enzymes, vitamins and mineral factors. The drying process does not use fillers, binders, or stabilizers - such as maltodextrin (a sugar that is used as a drying agent). This product, being a concentrate, is nutritionally potent. A ton of beets produces less than 20 lbs. of powder. Therefore, all the nutrients present in the beet plant are present in the powder at 20 times the normal amounts. Unlike inorganic sources of iron, the body assimilates iron from the beet root very easily, because iron is found in an organic complex. Beets also contain potassium, magnesium, phosphorous, calcium, sulfur,    iodine, vitamins and many trace minerals.

#53S WHEAT GERM OIL

Our Wheat Germ Oil capsules contain 73% wheat germ oil, an excellent source of the natural vitamin E complex; and 27% flaxseed oil, a rich source of unsaturated, essential fatty acids: linoleic and linolenic (omega-6 and omega-3). Vitamin E is an essential dietary component that is necessary for antioxidant activity in membranes. It regenerates other cellular antioxidants (i.e. selenium and glutathione) after they become oxidized.* The essential fatty acids also must be obtained in the diet, and are precursors for many hormones and metabolically active compounds. Light, oxygen and high temperatures destroy vitamin E and fatty acids very rapidly. Therefore, the wheat germ and flax seed are pressed at a low temperature in the absence of light and oxygen. The oil is then encapsulated in a bovine gelatin capsule for protection and easy consumption.

The natural vitamin E in our foods is destroyed during cooking and processing due to heat, light, air and freezing. Grains lose up to 80% of their vitamin E content when milled. Commercially processed vegetable oils are low in vitamin E. #54S ENZYMATIC SUPPLEMENT

Never before has the use of antacids and gastric medication to treat indigestion been so prevalent. These types of drugs block the body´s natural digestive processes, but our Enzymatic Supplement aids the digestion process by providing natural digestive enzymes to breakdown food and promote assimilation of nutrients. Our Detoxificant is a natural and powerful detoxicant derived from bentonite, a mineral-rich volcanic clay. For centuries, native tribes around the world have recognized and benefited from the healing properties of bentonite clay in internal and external applications. In the early 20th century, bentonite clay was used by the British Army in India to treat acute bacterial food poisoning and in China to help treat cholera. We use a special process to refine the raw bentonite clay to remove mica, dirt and other impurities, in order to concentrate the active detoxifying ingredient, montmorillonite ("mont-mor-ill-o-nite"). This procedure places montmorillonite into a colloidal suspension and retains its innate negative charge.
